A Short Review for earbud ELIbuds SABIA, an earbud made from Indonesian Earbud Lover Community

Okay, this time I would like to make a short review about ELIbuds SABIA wink emoticon

ELIbuds SABIA is an earbud-type earphone, fabricated on Indonesia, an archipelago nation at South East Asia

Okay, cut the crap, here I go ...

Here are my setup :
1. A workstation class laptop (ThinkPad W510 ) with Fidelify installed
2. A 4-pole jack with mic and volume control
3. A splitter for two earphones
4. No amps

The playlist :
1. Babymetal's latest album (Metal Resistance)
2. Yui's songs

The first photo is ELIbuds SABIA (left) vs VE Monk non plus (right)

1. Babymetal's first song "Road Resistance" (streamed using Fidelify)

From my point of listening, I feel that Su's vocal is a bit forward on SABIA compared to VE Monk non plus.The double pedal beats is similar between SABIA and VE Monk non plus, not so deep but you can feel it in your ears that it is a double pedal's beat wink emoticon

2. Yui's song Rolling Star (streamed using Fidelify )
Again, miss Yui's vocal is a bit forward on SABIA compared to VE Monk non plus .. I think SABIA wins on the MID area

If you ask me, which one is my favourite from those playlist? It's miss SABIA wink emoticon

The second photo is ELIbuds SABIA (top) vs Xiaomi Mi New In Ear (Mi Piston3 standard -not youth version )

Comparing these two earphones is like comparing a tricycle and a four-wheelie .. they are totally different type of earphone, SABIA is an earbud type, while Piston3 is an In Ear Monitor type ... IEM type earphones give a better isolating sound, keep on reading ;)wink emoticon

For most of my playlist, Piston3 is giving a better double pedal beat on Babymetal's songs, while SABIA .... it loses a lot on this area

but when it comes to vocal, again SABIA wins on the MID, but still loses on the LOW for Piston3

and if you ask me again the same question "which one is my favourite from those playlist?". Well, right now I am using SABIA wink emoticon

And you guys might wonder why I don't write about the HIGH? SABIA, VE Monk non plus and Piston3 quite similar on HIGH based from my listening, except maybe there are few songs that incorporated a lot of cymbal sounds (One Winged Angel From Final Fantasy 7 for example ), SABIA performed the worst, while Monk and Piston3 create better cymbal sounds than SABIA ..

I guess that is all my "short review" for ELIbuds SABIA, VE Monk non plus and Mi Piston3 (all of them are 32ohm impedance earphones and I got them from offline seller .. mostly from Warung Audio Kere Hore's Facebook Page )wink emotico)

And remember, this review is subjective, based on my two ears .. you should only trust your ears, not mine smile emoticon
